Whether you need to power an air compressor, a woodworking shop, or a laser, you’ll find the Type WMA™ rotary three phase converter up to the task. This general-purpose wall mounted rotary phase converter is a reliable source of true three-phase power wherever a small footprint or confined space exist.

When connected to a 240 or 480 volt 1-phase line (you must be specific during a sales call), the Type WMA™ phase converter produces 3-phase power at its output terminals with each phase shifted 120°. You get a near replica of utility 3-phase power much more economical cost.

One caveat to the WMA is that it requires an additional 4 hours of installation, [as we have no clue where on the wall you are installing the control panel], however, the lead times are typically 7-10 business days, so standard unit are in stock awaiting shipment.

Use our sizing chart below to determine which Type WMA phase converter is right for your application. Remember, however, that the most important factor in proper sizing is the application for which your motor is used.

The WMA phase converter is available in 3 standard configurations. The WMA, the WMA-A with automatic controls, and the MA-LSV with digital on/off control buttons.
